As the transition occurs from the current Junction City High School to the new high school a History, Legacy and Traditions Committee has been put in place.

Board of Education President Rina Neal said it is comprised of current Blue Jays and alumni. "They'll be working on putting together information to figure out how we transition from the old high school to the new high school." Neal said the committee will have monthly meetings. "And they will also have a survey that they will send out to figure out what is considered to be the legacy and traditions of our high school, and to preserve those."

Neal provided the update during the Board of Education meeting Monday evening.
