The Geary County Sheriff's Department has reported that Deputies responded to U.S. 77 Highway mile marker 156 for a two-vehicle accident. Joshua Michael Seay, Junction City, was driving a Dodge Ram when it was hit from behind by a Pontiac Torrent driven by Liam Spenser Murphy, Fort Riley. There were no injuries.
In a second case Deputies responded to 200 East 8th Street for a two vehicle minor damage accident. Roy Fausnett, Junction City, while driving a GMC Sierra turned left in the parking lot and sideswiped the rear bumper of a Chevrolet Tahoe owned by Earl Stackhouse, Junction City. There were no injuries.
Deputies responded to U.S. 77 Highway mile marker 159 for a car vs. deer accident. Ellisa Pacheco, Salem, Oregon was driving a Toyota Camry southbound on U.S. 77 and struck a deer causing heavy vehicle damage. Pacheco was not injured.
