After 270 consecutive days Milford Lake is nearly back at multipurpose pool. Corps of Engineers Operations Project Manager Bill Whitworth says it will continue to slowly drop until the reservoir hits the winter target of 1141.4.
Over the course of the winter, spring and summer the Corps will be making repairs to infrastructure damaged from the extended high water season. Some repairs will be easy, some might take until next fall or beyond to complete. Whitworth noted that they do not know yet what areas might remain closed during the next recreation season, but will open what they can.
