Possible drunk driver rear-ends Kansas police vehicle

SEDGWICK COUNTY —Early Thursday a Wichita police department patrol vehicle was struck by a possible intoxicated driver at approximately 60 miles per hour. The officer was stopped to assist another officer at an accident.

Fortunately, only minor injuries occurred and the officer was not injured, according to police.

Police remind the public not to drink and drive. Not only is it against the law, but it also puts yourself and others at risk of serious injury or death.
