RILEY COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities in Riley County are investigating an alleged sex crime and have a suspect arrested in Texas in custody in Kansas.
On November 14, the Riley County Police Department reported deputies in Texas arrested 41-year-old Sean Morgan in New Braunfels, Texas on a Riley County District Court Warrant for rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, attempted rape, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual battery.
Just after 8 a.m. Friday, Morgan was booked into the Riley County jail on a $200,000 bond on requested charges of Rape; Sexual intercourse without consent and use of force Aggravated criminal sodomy; With person/animal by force , Aggravated sexual battery; Force or fear Attempted aggravated criminal sodomy; With ,person/animal by force Attempted rape; Sexual intercourse without consent and use of force Aggravated kidnapping, according to the RCPD booking report.
