Administrative offices at Fort Riley will be closed on Dec. 24 in observance of Christmas Eve.
While the garrison and 1st Infantry Division will be observing the holiday, some facilities on post will be open on Christmas Eve.
Dec. 24 plans include:
--The Fort Riley Commissary will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
--The Fort Riley Post Exchange is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
--Devil's Den Dining Facility is open, serving breakfast from 8:30 - 10 a.m., lunch noon to 1:30 and dinner 4 - 5:30 p.m.
--USO Kansas, Fort Riley Center will be open 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
--American Red Cross station is closed.
--Corvias is closed. On-post residents who require emergency maintenance may contact 844-533-0456 or call their community office and press 1 to reach the after hours call center.
--Irwin Army Community Hospital along with medical and dental clinics on post have contacted patients to reschedule patient appointments. Emergency and in-patient care continues. Patients can reschedule their appoints by calling 239-3627. Dental and medical clinics outside of IACH will be closed. Dental emergencies can report to the Irwin Army Community Hospital emergency room to address needs.
--The Religious Support Office will be closed, however the following events will continue as scheduled. They include the Christmas Eve Children's Mass at 4 p.m. at the Victory Chapel, 2560 Trooper Drive, the Holiday Wagon Ride & Social, Main Post Chapel, 6 Barry Avenue, 4:30 p.m., and the Protestant Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Main Post Chapel, 6 Barry Avenue.
All Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities except physical fitness centers and Warrior Zone will be closed. All Child and Youth Services facilities and programs will be closed including Child Development Centers, School-Age Center, Parent Central, SKIES, Youth Center and hourly and day part programs.
Physical fitness centers will operate on holiday hours as follows: Craig Fitness Center and Whitside Fitness Center remain 24 hour, Leonard Fitness Center 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Long Fitness Center 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., King Field House 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Robinson Fitness Center 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Warrior Zone will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Human Resource programs, including Soldier For Life-Transition Assistance Program, Outprocessing, RAPIDS ID and card center and Fort Riley Education Center are closed, and evening college classes are canceled.
With the exception of facilities that are usually open 24/7 ( some AAFES expresses, hospital , Warrior Zone ( 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. ) and specific posted announcements, all facilities are closed on Christmas Day.
