Kan. police K9 helps seize drugs, cash during Christmas Eve traffic stop

RENO COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on numerous drug charges following a traffic stop.

On Christmas Eve, officers of the Hutchinson Police Department Repeat Offender Unit seized approximately 1/4 pound of methamphetamine, distribution amounts of Marijuana, Oxycodone, and synthetic drugs during a traffic stop, according to a media release.

Officers also seized over $3000.00 in cash and two firearms from inside the vehicle.

K9 Tank alerted on the vehicle driven by David A. Gardner. Police arrested Gardner for Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute, Possession of Oxycodone with the intent to Distribute, Possession of Synthetic Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with the intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to ingest/introduce to the human body.
