The 30th edition of Eagle Days at Milford Lake will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25. Activities are planned at the Milford Nature Center along with bus tours to view the bald eagles near the reservoir.

Pat Silovsky, Milford Nature Center, said they usually migrate southward to the lake area around the end of November, and some remain here year around. "But right now we're seeing the eagles that come down from the north and spend the winter here."

Silovsky said the bus tours have become one of the most popular attractions for Eagle Days. The hours for those tours are 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the 25th. "A different bus starts on the half hour so there'll be a lot of buses this year."

Other activities will include those dealing with raptor presentations where you can learn about eagles and other birds of prey, and there will be a Kid's Tent with some children's activities ranging from crafts to a life size eagle's nest.

There is no cost to attend the event.
