Midseason tournament time has arrived for the Junction City Lady Jay basketball team. On Thursday Junction City meets top seeded Topeka High in the first round of the 2020 Lady Firebirds Winter Classic at Lawrence Free State High School. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
On the same side of the bracket Olathe West will play Blue Valley Southwest and on the other half of the bracket first-round matchups include Derby vs. Lawrence High School and FL Schlagle against Lawrence Free State.
The tournament continues Friday and Saturday.
