SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a murder and have a suspect in custody.

Just after 5p.m. Sunday November 3, police responded to a death call at a residence in the 1300 block of South Greenwood in Wichita, according to office Charley Davidson.

At the scene, a 52-year-old woman reported arriving at the home to check on 73-year-old Raymond Koob and finding him unresponsive inside.

Koob was pronounced deceased on the scene and had extensive injuries to his body.

The Sedgwick County District attorney recently charged the case and a warrant was issued, according to Davidson.  On Friday, police arrested 45-year-old Ricky Price.

He is being held on requested charges of first-degree murder, theft of property or services and criminal possession of a firearm, according to online jail records.
