USD 475 has announced that due to the boil water advisory issued by the Kansas Department of Health & Environment for Fort Riley, all schools on post will be closed Friday.
That includes Fort Riley Middle School, Fort Riley Elementary School, Morris Hill Elementary, Seitz Elementary and Ware Elementary. This also includes all before and after school programs, as well as Early Childhood classes.
The Fort Riley Public Affairs Office also confirmed that the 1st Infantry Division Child Development Center, Warren East Child Development Center, Custer Hill Teen/Youth Center and School Age Center, and Parent Central announced their closure for Friday, Feb. 21.
