SHAWNEE COUNTY –Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man in connection with a missing teen.
On Monday, the Shawnee County Emergency Communications Center received a call from a parent reporting their 15-year-old daughter had run away. She left for school on Monday morning and never returned home, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
Through investigation, the runaway was safely located without injury in Shawnee County and deputies arrested Justin D. Hainline, 38, of Eudora, Kansas on requested felony charges of of contributing to a child’s misconduct or deprivation and interference with parental custody.
The sheriff's department released no additional details
