Release by Geary County Clerk Rebecca Nordyke
At the March 23rd Geary County Commission meeting we met with the Health Department Administrator and the other Elected Officials and Department Heads who work in the Geary County Office Building.
In order to provide for the health, safety and well-being of both our employees and the public and based on the recommendation of the Health Department Administrator and in consultation with the other Elected Officials and Department Heads we made the decision to close the Geary County Office Building to the public at 5:00 p.m. on March 24, 2020 through April 8, 2020. A decision will be made at the County Commission meeting on Monday, April 6, 2020 about extending the closure.
