Geary USD 475 officials hope to have information available by Friday on the WiFi Hot Spots being acquired to assist, where necessary, students' online learning. The school district plans to begin their e-learning program April 6.

Associate Superintendent Lacee Sell said they are still in the planning process. "We hope to make certain that we have that communication and that message to you all by Friday's end."

The district originally planned to begin the e-learning on April 1 but it was delayed until April to ensure that everyone was able to access resources, "that people could get their technology up and running and then for us to get the Hot Spots here."

Superintendent Dr. Reginald Eggleston said for those with access to WiFi that you are accessing all the existing resources.

The e-learning has been made necessary because of the order by Governor Kelly to close school buildings for the remainder of the academic term.
