OVERLAND PARK —The Salute To Blue Sunday night honored fallen Overland Park Police Officer Mike Mosher who died May 2 during an exchange of gun fire during pursuit with a reported hit-and-run suspect. People lined the street in Overland Park and hundreds of officers in their cars provided a driving vigil for Mosher.
The police cars then gathered in the Oak Park Mall parking lot to pay respects to the service and sacrifice of Mosher who had been with the Overland Park department for nearly 15 years.
