SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a residential burglary and have made an arrest.
Just after 2:30a.m. on May 7, officers responded to a burglary in progress call at a residence in the 1200 block of North Harding, according to officer Charley Davidson.
A 32-year-old woman and her two daughters, ages 15 and 2 were at the home.

The 15-year-old reported waking up to an unknown person inside of the home. The suspect then fled from the home on foot.
The mother provided investigators with surveillance video from inside the home, which showed a suspect later identified as 14-year-old boy roaming the residence for several minutes before leaving.
On Wednesday, police used social media and asked for the community’s help in identifying the suspect. Through a tip from the community, the 14-year-old was identified and arrested.
An investigation revealed that the boy entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole a tool. He then ran from the home after the 16-year-old girl woke up.
The 14-year-old boy is facing requested charges of aggravated burglary and theft, according to Davidson.
