Deputy finds ecstasy, marijuana in Kan. man's pickup

JACKSON COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for allege drug distribution.

On Thursday, A sheriff’s deputy stopped a Ford F-250 pickup truck that was northbound on U.S. 75 south of Hoyt, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

The deputy located a quantity of a substance believed to be ecstasy and marijuana.

The driver, Stephen Virgil Albright, 36, of Topeka was arrested on requested charges of distribution of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to distribute a hallucinogenic drug and no drug tax stamp.
