Elisa Robinson of the Class of 2020 at Junction City High School recently was announced as the State of Kansas winner of the Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award for her wrestling ability and accomplishments, and her excellence as a student athlete.

This past week the Geary County Commission signed a resolution noting that Robinson is a State Champion, has been throughout her high school career, and was selected for the award based on her sportsmanship, scholastic achievements and demonstration of commitment to her community.

The Commission recognized Robinson for her excellence as a student athlete, her character and her demonstration of citizenship to Junction City High School, Junction City and Geary County.
