CHAPMAN, Kansas, June 3, 2020 – Hannah Karmann and Julie Rock, members of the Chapman High School class of 2020, each won a FFA scholarship sponsored by Domino’s. Karmann will attend Cloud County Community College to earn her Associate’s degree in business and accounting. Rock will attend Kansas State University to study biological and agricultural engineering.

As a member of FFA, Karmann served as the chapter president her senior year, and the junior vice president her junior. Through her “supervised agricultural experience” she earned practical experience in veterinary medicine and beef production. In May 2020, she was awarded the FFA State Degree.

During Rock’s time in FFA, she focused on sheep production, public speaking, entomology and floriculture. She served as the chapter treasurer. She also participated in the Navarre Boosters 4-H club and National Honor Society.

"I, along with the other franchisees across the country, know there is no Domino’s without the dairy, tomato, wheat and other farmers working hard every day to produce the food we serve," said Jeff Maddox, Domino's franchise owner in Junction City. "I am glad we can help local students by sponsoring scholarships to help them achieve their dreams and develop a successful career in the agriculture industry."
