KINGMAN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 3p.m. Friday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a westbound 1984 John Deere Tractor driven by Dale L Thimmesch, 63, Pretty Prairie, and an eastbound 2001 Chevy Blazer driven by Ray L. Bouray, 60, Cheney, sideswiped each other on NE 10th Street seven miles west of Cheney.
The Blazer overturned in the roadway. Bouray was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Livingston Mortuary.
The KHP did not report were Thimmesch was transported for treatment. Bouray was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
