Opening weekend came to a close for the Junction City Blues baseball team with a split in two games on Saturday. They fell to Topeka 14-2 and defeated Wichita 12-5.
On Friday Junction City defeated Emporia 12-5 but lost to Topeka 1-0. All four games were played in a tournament in McPherson.
