OSBORNE COUNTY — Two people died in an accident just before 11a.m. Sunday in Osborne County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Jeep Laredo was northbound on U.S. 281 HWY eleven miles south of Osborne.
The Jeep traveled off the right side of the roadway, back onto the roadway, crossed the centerline, traveled off the roadway to the left, returned to the road and rolled. Both occupants were ejected.
Thomas F. Scott, 85, and Nyla J. Scott, 77, both of Chambers, Nebraska were pronounced dead at the scene and were transported to Clark-Gashaw Morturary.
First responders were unable to determine who was driving. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
