Kansas deputy dies in back yard accident

KINGMAN COUNTY —A deputy with the Kingman County Sheriff's Department died in an accident Monday.

According to a social media report from the sheriff's department 57-year-old deputy Marion Guy Williams was working in his back yard and was accidentally electrocuted. 

He was an 8 year veteran of the Kingman County Sheriff’s Office. He is survived by his wife Juanita, a son, daughter and two step-children, according to Livingston Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Kingman Christian Church.

Authorities released no additional details.
