JOHNSON COUNTY — A teenager accused in the January killing of a 15-year-old Kansas girl was back in court this week.

Davon Washington, 17,&nbsp; pleaded guilty to reckless second-degree murder and juvenile in possession of a firearm, to the Johnson County District Attorney's office..

The shooting occurred January 19 at apartment complex near W. 127th and S. Mur Len Road.&nbsp; EMS transported Brianna Higgins to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Police arrested Washington January 29. He is scheduled for sentencing June 28, according to the district attorney's office.
