KANSAS CITY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire at an apartment fire in Kansas City.
Just before 6p.m. Sunday, crews responded to a reported apartment fire in the 10604 E. 98th Terrace, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
Crews reported smoke showing from a three-story apartment building. Interior operations were initiated using multiple handlines. Searches of the structure came back all clear. The fire was contained to a single apartment on the third floor; however multiple apartments received water and smoke damage.
There were no injuries reported Red Cross is assisting a number of those who were displaced.
