The Junction City Blue Jays finished third out of 15 teams at the Class 6A Substate Wrestling Tournament in Wichita Saturday. The Blue Jays scored 94.5 team points and qualified six wrestlers for the Class 6A State Tournament next Saturday at Hartman Arena in Park City.
Qualifying for state from Junction City were CJ Neumann who finished second at 145 pounds, Isaiah Zinken second at 195 pounds, Kayden Blake third 120, Griffin Bohanan fourth 152, Judah Peterson fourth 220 and Ezekiel Witt fourth at 106 pounds.
