
SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating another homicide in Wichita have made an arrest.

Just before 6:30p.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to a shooting at a business in the 900 Block of South Seneca, according to Officer Kris Gupilan. First responders found a shooting victim lying in the parking lot of the Lost Sock Laundromat.
Officers began life saving measures until EMS arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Preliminary information indicates the suspect confronted the victim in the parking lot prior to the shooting. Investigators believe this was a targeted incident and not a random act of violence, according to Gupilan.
Investigators and officers continued following leads throughout the evening and at 8:20 a.m., Sunday, Wichita Police SWAT team executed an arrest warrant in the 1800 block of S. Euclid and took the suspect identified in county booking records as 26-year-old Ronntreal M. Golston into custody.
Police have not released the name of the victim. Golston is being held on requested charges of murder in the first degree, intentional and premeditated.
