HARVEY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 8:30p.m. Monday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F250 driven by Brandon Michael Albert, 33, Goddard, was eastbound on on U.S. 50 just west of Emma Creek Road.
The pickup rear-ended a 2009 Kia Spectra driven by Wanda S. Ivy, 47, Newton, who was traveling at a slow rate of speed due to weather conditions. The pickup rolled multiple times ejecting Albert.
Albert was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Sedgwick County Forensic Center. EMS transported Ivy to a Wichita Hospital. Albert was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
