WYANDOTTE CCOUNTY—Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department are investigating a double-homicide.
Just before noon Saturday, officers were dispatched to a shooting in the in the 1000 block of Orville Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release.
First responders located three adults inside a home; one man and one woman were pronounced deceased on scene and one man was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
All three had apparent gunshot wounds. The initial investigation indicates that the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. Detectives are not currently seeking suspects. Police did not release the names of the victims or additional details.
This incident remains under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit.
