KANSAS CITY —Police have released the name of a bicyclist involved in a crash on May 24 who died of his injuries as 61-year-old Timothy V. Osgood, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
Early April 24, an electric bicycle ridden by Osgood crashed on the Rock Island Trail in the area of 9611 East 53rd Street, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
A man out on his morning run found Osgood on the concrete trail. The exact time of the crash is unknown. EMS transported Osgood to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
He was pronounced dead just before 10:30p.m. Friday, according to Becchina.
