Police track down Kan. man wanted for aggravated burglary

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a robbery have made an arrest.

The robbery occurred on May 2 in the 2000 Block of NW Tyler Street in Topeka, according to Lt. Shane Hilton.

On May 14th, the Topeka Police Department put out an Attempt to Identify suspects in the case and identified 36-year-old James Clelland of Topeka.

On Friday, Topeka Police Detectives served a Search Warrant in the 1100 block of SW High and located Clelland and took him into custody. They later booked him into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault, according to Hilton.
