DOUGLAS COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal crash that occurred just after 5:30p.m. November 10 in Douglas County have identified the victim.
On Monday, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy Uplander driven by Tammey J. Harrison, 56, Carbondale, was westbound on U.S. 56 five miles west of Overbrook. The vehicle drifted into the eastbound lane and the south shoulder, flipped and came to a final rest in the south ditch.
Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
