The U.S. State Department has advised any American currently in the following countries to depart immediately:
- Bahrain
- Egypt
- Iran
- Iraq
- Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza
- Jordan
- Kuwait
- Lebanon
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- Syria
- United Arab Emirates
- Yemen
Senator Marshall strongly encourages all Americans abroad to enroll in the U.S. State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at step.state.gov to receive the latest security updates directly from the nearest U.S. embassy.
