TREGO COUNTY —A northwest Kansas detention deputy is under investigation for a conspiracy to commit murder.
A probable cause affidavit alleges Trego County Detention Deputy, 42-year-old Jerry Jervah, Jr. conspired with inmates held at the Trego County Jail to murder in inmate held in a separate facility on pending charges, according to a media release from the Trego County Attorney.
Jervah is now no longer an employee of Trego County, following his arrest. Jervah is being held in Sherman County awaiting a bond hearing.
