Sheriff: Alcohol a possible factor in Kan. ATV crash

JACKSON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Monday in Jackson County.

The driver of an ATV was ejected while driving off road approximately ½ mile south of 158th Road near X.4 Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

EMS transported the driver, a Valley Falls man to a Topeka hospital with disabling injuries, according to Morse.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether alcohol was a contributor to the accident.  Morse did not release the driver's name.
