KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating a fatal. hit-and-run and have made an arrest.
Just after 10:30a.m. Wednesday, a midsize SUV was westbound on Barry Road from N Boardwalk, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
The SUV struck a construction worker and left the scene. A few minutes later, KC Fire Department paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased. The driver of the vehicle was apprehended shortly after, according to Gonzalez. Police have not released the name of the victim.
