
SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman on multiple charges following a traffic stop in Shawnee Kansas.
Just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country minivan near NW Morse Street and NW Jackson Street for an equipment violation, according Deputy Shayna Anderson. During the investigation, illegal narcotics were located.
Deputies arrested the passenger, Tarji J. Marks, 31, of Topeka and booked her into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on the requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia as well as two misdemeanor warrants out of the City of Topeka.
