FRANKLIN COUNTY —Law enforcement and USD 290 are investigating alleged threats made toward students at Ottawa High School, 120 S Ash Street in Ottawa, and have made an arrest.
Staff at the high school reported the alleged threat that were specific to identified individuals and not to the school, student body, staff or the public, according to a media release from police. All affected victims and families and were notified.
School resource officers and detectives investigated and arrested a 15-year-old student on requested charges of criminal threats. The student is being held in the Franklin County Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center.
Police released no additional details.
