SEDGWICK COUNTY —Authorities are working to determine the cause of a Thursday morning house fire that injured one person in Wichita.
Just before 9a.m. crews responded to the fire at a home in the 2400 Block of S Ida Avenue, according to a social media report from the Wichita Fire Department.
One person was trapped in the home and was able to escape. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire and conduct search and rescue. All residents were accounted for and EMS transported one person to a local hospital in critical condition. Officials released no additional details.
