
FINNEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a southwest Kansas man for alleged possession of a stolen vehicle.
On Wednesday, police in Guymon, Oklahoma contacted Garden City Police about a stolen vehicle in the Garden City area, according to a media release.
On Tuesday, officers located the vehicle and initiated a high-risk traffic stop in the 400 block of N. 4th Street in Garden City.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 29-year-old Manuel Melendez-Davila of Garden City was taken into custody without incident.
He is being held in the Finney County Jail on four active felony warrants and an active misdemeanor warrant.
