TOPEKA, Kan. ā Gov. Laura Kelly will held a press conference at Monday to give an update regarding COVID-19 in Kansas.
She discussed the dramatic increase in virus deaths over the weekend, encouraged residents to get a flu shot (she got a flu shot last week) and answered questions about budget cuts and much more.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Kansas increased by 1,513 to a total of 49,899 the state health department reported Monday afternoon.
Coronavirus deaths were reported at 534, an increase of 23.
