
SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug charges after a drug bust at Kansas home.
On Monday, members of the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Shawnee County Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 400 BLK SE 34th related to an ongoing investigation, according to Police Lt. Jerry Monasmith.
While conducting the search warrant, officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, stolen property and a firearm.

As a result, police arrested Matthew Hoag, 30 and Alexandra Dwyer, 23, both of Topeka. They were transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections. Hoag is being held on requested charges that include Possession of methamphetamine with the intent of distribution, Criminal possession of a weapon by a felon, Aggravated endangering a child, Possession of marijuana and Possession of drug paraphernalia with intent of distribution.
Dwyer is jailed on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine with the intent of distribution, Aggravated endangering a child, Possession of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia with intent of distribution and Possession of stolen property, according to Monasmith.
