RILEY COUNTY --Law enforcement are investigating alleged fraud in Manhattan.&nbsp; Just after 3p.m. Thursday, officers filed a report for fraud in the 400 block of 3rd Place in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Burlington Coat Factory reported an unknown male suspect called the store and instructed them to take money from the register and deposit it into a bitcoin machine. 

The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,740. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.
