The Lady Jays improved to 2-5 on the season.

On the Boys side, Junction City trailed 50-45 with just under two minutes to play, but ended the game on a 7-0 run to steal a win, capped off by a Howard Johnson layup with just 2 seconds to go.

Johnson lead the Blue Jays with 26 points. Chris Dixon added 15 more.

The Blue Jays are now 4-2 on the year.

Both teams will be back in action on Friday when they host Washburn Rural at 6 and 7:45 p.m..
