SEDGWICK COUNTY —Police released the name of the man died in the bulldozer accident Tuesday as 52-year-old Mike Unruh of Moundridge, according to Officer Juan Rebolledo.
Just before 11a.m.., emergency crews responded to the 2800 Block W. Keywest Court where a bulldozer and the operator, Mike Unruh, went into the water while working, according to a social media report from the Wichita Fire Department.
Rescue teams worked in and on the water with divers and equipment. The bulldozer and Unruh were located 30 to 40 feet out. EMS attempted CPR, but he was pronounced dead. It is not known if the Unruh had a medical related incident, according to emergency crews. Authorities released no additional details Wednesday afternoon.
