
RENO COUNTY— Police arrested a Hutchinson man after he allegedly threatened to harm his co-workers at a business in Hutchinson business.
On Tuesday afternoon, police detained 24-year-old Andrew Patterson during a traffic stop after law enforcement received information that he had made the threatening comments, according to a media release.
During the stop, police found detailed plans in Patterson’s vehicle to carry out an act of mass violence against the employees. A search warrant was executed at his residence where additional evidence related to the plan was collected.
Patterson was taken into custody on requested charges of domestic terrorism. His bond has been set at $3,000,000. Formal charges are pending.
