KINGMAS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 10:30p.m. Friday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Honda motorcycle driven by Israel Nemitz, 39, Spivey, was westbound in the 2300 Block of SW 150th Street. The driver turned around to check on a westbound 2021 Chongqing motorcycle driven by Uriah Nemitz, 8, Spivey. The motorcycles collided head-on.
EMS transported both drivers to Wesley Medical Center. The 8-year-old was seriously injured, according to the patrol. Both drivers were wearing helmets at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
