FINNEY COUNTY —A Colorado man arrested for a December 15, shooting that occurred in Garden City is now being held in a Kansas Jail.
Finney County Sheriff’s Investigators learned that 33-year-old Jordan Deloach of Lamar, Colorado had traveled to Garden City and became involved in a confrontation with the victim.
This led to Deloach going to the victim’s residence and shooting through the residential door, striking the victim. Deloach returned to Colorado where he was located by the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office.
Finney County Sheriff’s Investigators met with Prowers County Sheriff’s Office to assist with further investigation. Investigators applied for and were granted a Finney County arrest warrant for Deloach. Deputies arrested him and he was held in Prowers County on a $250,000 warrant on requested charges of Attempted 1st Degree Murder· Criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon until his transfer to the Finney County jail over the weekend, according to online jail records.
