Police: Search continues for Kan. man in drug-deal murder

WICHITA—Law enforcement authorities investigating a drug-deal shooting death one year ago continue to ask for help in locating 19-year-old Jakob Oneil Cuble in connection with the murder.

On May 20, 2020, Marcus Sain was shot and killed during a drug transaction at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of South Webb Road in Wichita, according to Officer Trevor Macy.

Thanks to information from the public, police detectives have been able to identify three people involved in his murder.

Two of those people Malcolm Ganther and Nathaniel Saunders are currently in custody.

Police have not located Jakob Cuble.  The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office has charged Cuble with First Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery. Cuble is described as 5-foot-6, 120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
