WYANDOTTE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and asking the public for help to locate a vehicle believed involved.
On Monday, the Kansas Highway Patrol released a photo of a white, 2010-17 four-door Chevy Equinox with a sunroof and paper tags believed involved in the Wednesday Sept. 9 incident on Interstate 70 near Interstate 635 in Wyandotte County, according to a media release.
The victim's vehicle was shot at while they westbound on Interstate 70 near 38th Street. The suspect vehicle occupied by a white or Hispanic female driver in her 20s and a white or Hispanic male shooter with black hair in his 20s, continued southbound on Interstate 635.
Anyone with information on the suspect vehicle or the suspects is asked to contact the Kansas Highway Patrol.
